Prayers Going Up

As I was running my errands today, I passed 2 hospitals. At each of them, there was a helicopter, probably a life flight, landing. My first thought each time was I hope everyone will be ok, and then I thought of all the doctors, nurses, and pilots who are there to help. Thank goodness for them.

Safety from the Storm

I've seen downed trees, lines, pouring rain today. The lights have been flickering. This leaf looked so safe, from the elements.

I'd love to be able to catch shots of lightening one day.

Lesson Learned

Don't leave your freshly recharged flash batteries at home, or you get a weird halo/shadow effect.
On top of that, she didn't even with the match.
